Document Archiving
Your precious documents, such as handwritten entries in the family bible, marriage certificates, birth certificates, death certificates, diplomas, military honors and discharges, as well as family photographs, can all be scanned and placed in a digital format on the internet by Eternal Star.
The scanning process is safe and does not harm the original material. By placing the digital images on the internet system the material is assured of preservation. Redundant hosting and storage systems prevent accidental loss of the image. If one system is damaged by power failure or other catastrophe, the other systems holding the image will be used to replace or repair the image.
No method other than the redundant systems employed by advanced internet technology can assure the preservation of documents for many hundreds of years, in perfect condition, and with the ability to be accessed by everyone and any time.
Eternal Star can arrange to have UPS send you a special envelope to place you document(s) in for shipment. You will be given a telephone number to call for document pick-up. Your document shipment will be tracked safely to the Eternal Star office in Merrillville, Indiana. Once there, the materials will be scanned with return shipment made via UPS within two business days.
