Photographs
Eternal Star will scan your photographs for you and load them onto your internet page. Photograph preservation is assured through scanning and storing on our internet system. Protect your family photographs from fire, flood, and deterioration.
Your photos will be picked up by United Parcel Service (UPS) in a special two-day tracking envelope. Photos are scanned overnight and your photos safely returned by UPS in the same manner.
Fees charged for your permanent webpage includes a contribution to the trust fund that will ensure adequate income to continue displaying your photographs and text for centuries.

Our scanning is professionally performed to prepare your photos for the internet. Photos and slides will automatically be enhanced to bring out the best quality possible, but they are not restored by this process. The files size is automatically compressed to provide maximum website display and enjoyment. These photos can be downloaded, but will not be capable of enlargement without dots, or pixilation, becoming evident. They will be perfectly clear on the internet. Some services can scan your pictures into high resolution files for placement on CD or DVD. These scans produce very large file sizes that would make long-term storage on the internet very expensive and even more vulnerable to decay.
Our scans are initially high-definition, high-resolution scans. We then compress these scan files for the internet and the high definition files are destroyed. We can provide you a copy of the high definition files, but this slows down our production process. If you so desire, we will provide you a copy of the scanned photos and slides, at the time of initial processing, saved to a CD, for no additional charge.
